Freda Gathers, better known as Freda Gatz, is a major recurring character in the second season of Empire, as a rapper signed to Gutter Life Records, a division of Empire Entertainment that focuses primarily on artists from the street.
Freda is also the daughter of the late Frank Gathers, a cannibalistic drug lord. She is portrayed by rapper Bre-Z, and makes her first appearance in "The Devils Are Here".
