Michael Sanchez is a recurring character on Empire. He was Jamal's boyfriend until Our Dancing Days where they broke up after Michael moving out stating that Jamal doesn't had space on his life for her because of his career and Lola. In season two the two seem to have reconnected and Jamal says that Michael is the one he truly loves.
