Michael Sanchez is a recurring character on Empire. He was Jamal's boyfriend until Our Dancing Days where they broke up after Michael moving out stating that Jamal doesn't have space in his life for him because of his career and Lola. In season two the two seem to have reconnected and Jamal says that Michael is the one he truly loves but later on they broke up again after Michael was caught cheating on Jamal.
Michael first appeared in Pilot.
