Season 2

Without a Country

Thirsty arranges a meeting with himself and Lucious in jail, the latter of whom is having his own meeting with Jamal. Jamal, who wonders why a lawyer is wearing a bright purple suit, asks where he went to law school. Thirsty reveals that he went to the University of Guam, which he quickly defends by adding that it is the same curriculum, but different campus (in comparison with Harvard). He also adds that none of Lucious' Harvard educated lawyers have not managed to secure him a bail hearing. One of the correctional officers notices Thirsty having an unauthorized meeting with Lucious and hauls him away, as Lucious tells Jamal to make a meeting with Thirsty.

After being hired, Thirsty arranges for Lucious to have his meds delivered by the very same correctional officer who hauled him away, who tells Lucious that he is Thirsty Rawlings friend and that Thirsty has many friends inside the prison system. The officer then secures Lucious a 65 minute window to record a song. However, right after finishing the song, Officer McKnight, a correctional officer who has it in for Lucious, barges in and hauls both Lucious and his laptop.

Thirsty has two goons attack McKnight n the parking lot, where they manage to crack his ribs and obtain Lucious' laptop from him. Thirsty pays the goons off with cash and has Lucious' song ("Snitch Bitch") released.

Thirsty also manages to secure a bail hearing for , but does not show up until the very last minute, when the judge was about to dismiss the entire case. He tells the court that he is late due to some last minute evidence, which he gives to the bailiff, who passes it to the judge. The judge opens the envelope to see some incriminating photos of himself engaging in BDSM. Embarrassed, he quickly releases Lucious on a $1,000,000 bail.
